XHTML is not very different from the standard HTML4 . There are a few technical differences that make XHTML a bit more strict than HTML4.
The most important differences.
- XHTML elements must be properly nested
- XHTML elements must always be closed
- XHTML elements must be in lowercase
- XHTML documents must have one root element
Let’s not go into technical details of the differences and simplify the difference as the XHTML is the standardization of code writing in HTML4. It makes the code look clean and it is easier to debug and manage.
We code all the website using XHTML strict / transitional coding and we completely validate the code before delivering to you. What more? Most modern browsers support the validated code and so your website will work and look same in all browsers.
