Visual Basic (VB) is an
event driven programming language and associated development environment,
created by Microsoft. It is derived heavily from Basic. Visual
Basic enables rapid application development (RAD) of graphical
user interface (GUI) applications; allows easy access to databases
using DAO, RDO, or ADO, and makes it easy to create ActiveX controls.
A moderately skilled programmer can quickly put together a simple
business application using components provided with visual basic.
We
at evolve can create simple application as well as any complex application
using visual basic such as various multimedia applications that
could play audio cd, audio files, vcd, video files etc. and database
applications using data control and ado control with the use of
ms access, oracle, sql server etc.
Apart from them we can also create a reporting
front-end on the web and web forms applications using visual basic
and can create all these applications with making use of utility
objects . On the whole, We can use Visual basic to develop any
Desktop offline or online application.
